D is for Drawing - ABC-Wednesday, Round 7 - D

It's Tuesday, and time to link to Mrs. Denise Nesbitt's ABC-Wednesday. This week is devoted to the letter D. My D-word is 'DRAWING'. This is a drawing of a teepee that my son Erik made last fall. Drawing has been a very important activity ever since I was a child and even as an adult. I'm glad to see that my children like to draw.

I am sorry to say that this post has to be short. I have so much to say about the word 'drawing', but for different reasons I cannot write a longer post than this. On the other hand, 'drawing' and 'draughtsmanship' are words that I always will have reason to return to in later posts.
Thank you for visiting.

Best wishes,
Anna

Drawing is so important, - it stirs the imagination and gives a child a great feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Erik's tepee is so colourful, - makes you want to go inside and see what's there...

I have always loved drawing since I was a small girl.

I also love children's art. They are the best little artists.

You know, it's funny, but I am completely lost if put on the spot. Drawing for D! duhhhh. Why didn't I think of that, but I am glad you did, that's what makes this ABC so much fun!

You are so right! There is much to say about drawings! You just reminded me of the stash of my son's drawings that I have.
These drawings are so precious!

My 6 y.o. daughter is quite prolific; don't know quite what to do with all the art.
