Thank you for stopping by! I've been thinking about you and your necklaces while I've been working on some new pieces today. (I decided that since it is my birthday, I should be allowed to do something that I really enjoy doing. So I did a new necklace. (And Erik made a necklace too! He wants to help me and he is getting good at it.) But I need certain supplies! I have lots of beads and findings, but there is always some tiny thing that is missing!
My birthday is also a very special day because I was born on my parent's wedding anniversary. Mother said that they were married sixty years ago on December 28th!

Thank you for your wish for me to receive such a nice present as a lovely piece of handmade jewellery. That is, in a way, exactly what happened. My eight-year-old son, Erik, offered to make one of these stretch-necklaces that I sell on a etsy-butik "parltradet". It is a given pattern that I have invented myself. Up to now, the children have just made necklaces for their own pleasure without having to think about any requirements. Erik wanted to help me by making a piece that actually could be sold. (I showed him the pattern and gave him the exact number of beads, but I will tie the knot on the beading-cord because that is kinda tricky to do, even for an adult.)
I like you poem about neighbours. I left a comment about it, in case anyone else is interested in my thoughts about your thoughts.
I hope that 2010 will also be a suberb year for you too!
