A is for Ambition - Mrs. Jenny Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday - Round 2- A

Photo Copyright Christina Wigren

Today is Thursday and we begin a new round, Round 2 of Mrs. Jenny Matlock's Alphabe-Thursday. This week's letter is A. My A-word is Ambition:

A is for Ambition

Ambition. The wish to ascend.
Making others shiver, creep and sink.
Bigger. Let no one you offend.
In any case, you ought to think,
To what end you aim your desire?
Is it to be those you admire?
Or something else that you require?
Not insight? What then, you aquire?

Today, I am not feeling that ambitious, but I do wish everyone who visits here a wonderful week!
Anna

Anna that's fun. I think perhaps it is ambition that I lack otherwise I would have stayed on the straight and narrow...but then I would have missed my avenues and missed you! Take care, thanks for visiting and staying. Julienne

You know, too much ambition could be a bad thing, too. although, I guess to much wouldn't hurt every once in a while, huh? Yummy apple!

Great poem on Ambition. I just had a good time with some friends and have no ambition left for this day.

That was a great take on 'A'. Ambition is something that was more important when I was younger - it has wanned as I have become wiser!

Great acrostic Anna and interesting insight on ambition!

Ambition combined with a great acrostic... gee, Anna, a doubly cool stop for Alphabe-Thursday.

I liked this insight. I've not seen you write a lot like this and I really enjoyed it.

Thank you for linking.
