Tea Party Illustration by Fernando Falcone
This is Monday' Child # 38:

Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at.
Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea-tray in the sky.

To be a fly on the wall at this tea-party! The March Hare, the Hatter and the Dormouse all sat at a table laid for tea. It was a very large table, but the three were crowded together and cried 'No room!' Alice sat down next to the March Hare. The Hatter sang:
Twinkle, twinkle, little bat!
How I wonder what you're at.
Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea-tray in the sky.
The March Hare and Hatter end up trying to stuff the Dormouse into the tea-pot. Alice left the Tea-Party and found the Queen's Coquet-Ground.
Best wishes,
Anna

I'm sure that Alice had a better time after she left the tea party. The March Hare and Hatter don't sound like the best of hosts :)
What a nice surreal feel this has!
